Employee Self Service (ESS)
Employee Self Service for Attendance Enterprise and Attendance On Demand is a browser based module that empowers employees to enter and review time and attendance information. Your employees can punch or enter punches or hours worked; transfer to different departments or locations; access their schedule, benefit, and archived time card information. Giving employees this ability reduces HR costs by reducing time spent responding to employee requests for attendance information.

Reviewing
With Employee Self Service (ESS) employees can be given online access to review their information. Employees can review:

Personal Information Review
An employee can review their address, base rate of pay, phone number and more to insure it is up-to-date.
Time Card Review
Employees can access time cards to ensure punches and worked hours are correct. They can also check for any exceptions or supervisor edits.
Schedules and Benefit Review
Unlike posted schedules, employees can review on-line real-time schedules. They can also check benefit balances and review detailed benefit usage.

Data Entry
Different employees can have different ESS options. For example, hourly employees can have function keys for punching, while salaried employees can enter their hours by project or departments. Different groups of employees see the ESS interface that best fits their needs.

Time Entry Options
Employee Self Service offers several different time entry sheets so your employees can work with their time in a familiar way.
- Use ESS as an online time clock to punch. You can give them the option to punch "real time" or type punch times directly into a timesheet.
- Type start and end times and departmental data. This option allows employees to enter work times and indicate where the time was spent.
- Enter the hours worked across one or more departments.
